About this show
California Coin Events promotes this two-day weekend bourse in the San Fernando Valley several times a year, with the organizer advertising more than 80 dealer tables. The floor covers U.S. and world coins, U.S. and foreign paper money, gold and silver bullion, jewelry, watches and other collectibles. Dealers buy as well as sell, and free appraisals are offered for coins, currency, bullion, jewelry and inherited collections. It runs as a straight trading floor, without an auction, exhibits or a lecture program.
- The same promoter runs additional California shows, including events in Arcadia, Van Nuys and the South Bay.
- Earlier editions were held at the Tarzana Masonic Lodge and the Airtel Plaza Hotel in Van Nuys before the show settled at its current Sherman Oaks location.
- The organizer also arranges private appointments with dealers for people buying or selling at an upcoming show.
- Admission is open to all ages, and the show is presented as suitable for beginners as well as established collectors.
