About this show
The Texas Numismatic Association, a nonprofit numismatic education group founded in January 1960 and the largest coin collector organization in the state, holds this annual state convention over a single weekend each year. The association describes a bourse of more than 100 tables, and earlier Fort Worth conventions have topped 150 dealer booths. The convention rotates among Texas host cities, and the floor is supplemented by competitive adult and youth exhibits, educational talks, and an official show auction conducted by an outside auction house.
- The convention has been held annually for more than fifty years; the 2012 Fort Worth edition was the 54th.
