About this show
The South Carolina Numismatic Association holds its state convention annually each October in Greenville, with a bourse of more than 200 tables filled by dealers and member coin clubs. Volunteers from SCNA's member clubs help staff the event alongside association officers, who appoint bourse and exhibit chairmen. Alongside the floor, the convention runs competitive exhibits in adult and junior classes, an official live and online coin and currency auction conducted by Brunk Auctions, and informal appraisals from participating dealers.
- ANACS attends to take submissions and give free verbal opinions on grade and authenticity, and ICG has appeared in some years.
- An all-day Saturday Young Numismatist Coin Carnival offers games, quizzes and prizes, supported by a YN table, a junior exhibit competition and a Coin Collecting Merit Badge clinic for Scouts.
- The SCNA College of Integrated Numismatics, launched in 2025, offers one-day classes during the convention.
- SCNA's awards breakfast and general membership meeting are held during the show, along with door prizes.
