About this show
The Salem Numismatic Society sponsors this annual two-day show, held on a December weekend and advertised at more than 80 tables of coin and stamp dealers drawing from around the country. Bourse material covers type and proof coins, gold and silver, mint and proof sets, tokens, currency, stamps, ancients, books and supplies. Beyond the tables, the show hosts collector exhibits, free appraisals on the Sunday, hourly raffles with an end-of-show drawing, and a demonstration of an elongated penny machine. Also known as the Salem Coin, Stamp and Postcard Show, it was held for years in Salem before moving to the Polk County Fairgrounds.
- An ANACS representative accepts coins for grading and slabbing on site.
- Young numismatists and novice collectors receive a free grab bag.
- The American Numismatic Association and the Pacific Northwest Numismatic Association both maintain an information presence.
- The show is organized through Oregon Coin Clubs, whose member clubs include Salem, Polk County, McMinnville, Springfield and Albany/Corvallis.

Before you go
Bring a sheet built from your want list: what each coin is worth right now, what to pay and when to walk. Print it, or keep it on your phone. It opens with no signal, which in most show halls is the signal you get.
