About this show
The Michigan State Numismatic Society holds this spring convention as one of its two conventions each year, running Friday through Sunday with roughly 120 to 130 dealer tables. The bourse carries United States and world coins and currency, tokens and medals, precious metals, and books and supplies. Alongside the floor are competitive exhibits, educational talks, a program for young collectors, and hourly door prizes.
- MSNS was founded in 1956, and the spring convention is numbered annually in step with the society's own founding year.
- The exhibit program is run as a formal competition with classes for US coins, US paper items, foreign coins and medals, plus a juniors class for ages 8 to 17, with cash awards funded by sponsoring clubs.
- Saturday programming includes an Educational Numismatic Theater with scheduled presentations.
- MSNS is a nonprofit, volunteer-run organization representing more than 20 member clubs across Michigan and publishes The MichMatist.

Before you go
Bring a sheet built from your want list: what each coin is worth right now, what to pay and when to walk. Print it, or keep it on your phone. It opens with no signal, which in most show halls is the signal you get.
