About this show
Also known as the Money Show of the Southwest, this annual January convention is the fund-raising project of the Greater Houston Coin Club, a non-profit run entirely by local volunteers whose proceeds go toward numismatic education programs for children and teachers. The three-day bourse runs about 125 tables with roughly 150 dealers. Alongside the floor, the club schedules a keynote address and educational presentations, competitive exhibits, an Early Cents auction, and Saturday youth activities including a youth numismatist auction.
- The show has run annually since the late 1950s, with editions numbered in the high sixties by the mid-2020s.
- Earlier editions were held in downtown Houston at the George R. Brown Convention Center before the move to Conroe.
- Free Saturday children's programming includes a youth treasure chest grab and a Put-A-Penny-In-Slot game.
- The club presents the event as the largest numismatic show in the country staffed entirely by local club volunteers.

Before you go
Bring a sheet built from your want list: what each coin is worth right now, what to pay and when to walk. Print it, or keep it on your phone. It opens with no signal, which in most show halls is the signal you get.
