About this show
The American Numismatic Association runs this five-day convention as its annual flagship event, rotating among host cities each summer. The bourse draws hundreds of dealers from the United States and abroad, with recent editions selling close to 500 tables, and mints from around the world exhibit alongside them. Stack's Bowers Galleries and Heritage Auctions serve as event auctioneer partners, holding lot viewing and sales through the week, while NGC, PMG and PCGS accept submissions for on-site grading. Programming away from the tables includes collector exhibits, the ANA Museum Showcase, Money Talks presentations and the Maynard Sundman/Littleton Coin Company Lecture Series.
- The ANA was founded in 1891 and has held conventions in most years since, with two annually since 1978.
- Youth programming has included Treasure Trivia on the bourse floor, Ernie's Treasure Treehouse, a Young Collectors Corner for beginners, and Boy Scout and Girl Scout coin collecting badge programs.
- Counterfeit detection sessions have put hundreds of numismatic fakes on the table for examination.
- Many attending dealers provide free informal appraisals.

Before you go
Bring a sheet built from your want list: what each coin is worth right now, what to pay and when to walk. Print it, or keep it on your phone. It opens with no signal, which in most show halls is the signal you get.
