About this show

The Hawaii State Numismatic Association runs this annual exposition in Honolulu, usually in the fall and usually across more than one day. Recent editions have drawn 40 to 65 dealers from Hawaii and the mainland across roughly 50 to 65 tables, making it the largest numismatic gathering in the state. The bourse mixes coins and paper money with stamps, postcards and Hawaiiana. Educational exhibits, speakers and door prize drawings are standing parts of the event.

  • The Hawaii State Numismatic Association, a Honolulu nonprofit, was founded in 1964.
  • Editions are numbered consecutively, with the 52nd held in 2015 and the 57th in 2022.
  • Attendance has been reported at over 1,000 for the annual show.
  • Mainland auction houses have staffed buying tables at the show for sellers of coins and currency.

Before you go

Bring a sheet built from your want list: what each coin is worth right now, what to pay and when to walk. Print it, or keep it on your phone. It opens with no signal, which in most show halls is the signal you get.
