About this shop
Buys gold, silver and platinum in the form of coins, jewelry and flatware, including broken and worn pieces, and pays cash at the counter. Diamonds and scrap jewelry are also purchased. The Waldorf store is one branch of a chain with locations in Maryland and the Pittsburgh area, and its stated business is buying precious metal items rather than stocking graded or collector coins for sale.
- Coin purchases are handled alongside jewelry and silver flatware buying.
- Items are accepted in any condition, including broken and unwanted pieces.

Know your numbers first
Walk in with a value in mind. Look up the cert number on anything slabbed, and check recent sold comps so you can tell a fair offer from a fast one.
